KINOGUITAN, MISAMIS ORIENTAL


TOPOGRAPHY




Kinoguitan is a 5th class municipality in 
the province of Misamis OrientalPhilippines.It is bounded on the north by Bohol Sea, on the east by Balingoan, and on the southwest by Sugbongbogon.

According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 10,519 people in 
2,043 households.
The town name Kinoguitan is spelled by the old folks especially during the early 1950s as Kinogitan.It should not be confused that Kinoguitan and Kinogitan are one municipality in the province of Misamis Oriental.

TOURIST DESTINATION

The Municipality of Kinoguitan is still developing its tourist destination, but the people have something to be proud of the picturesque view of Camiguin Island and the Golden Sunset can be seen from  BAGAKAY BAY PARK

Festival



  •  The Sinulog Queen dances gracefully in honor to Patron Saint Sr. Sto. Niño for the fruitful year.

Every  4th Saturday and Sunday of January the Municipality of Kinoguitan celebrates its annual SINULOG FESTIVAl in honor to its patron saint SR. STO. NIÑO. This is one of the most Festive event in the municipality. People from different places come to visit and join the celebration.
